ACCA December 2009 Exam Fee Remainder

  1. I live in Jamaica , I posted exam fee on October 2, 2009 and it arrived after the deadline, the examination Administrator(Stephen Tomlinson )says i cant sit the december 2009 exams. I have evidence to support my case ie. the receipt from the post office dated October 2, 2009, and based on the Postal Rule (Business Law) see case: Adams V Lindsell (1818), So how is it that i cannot take the december 2009 exams i signed up for, when my fees were sent off on the 2/10/09 before the deadline (15/10/09)?
    Doesn’t ACCA teachings apply to real life situation?, and isn’t what we learn in ACCA what we should abide by?
